Angel Falls Expedition: 4 Days / 3 Nights

Departures from: Caracas (Maiquetía) and Puerto Ordaz.

Day 1: Arrival and boat tour through the Canaima Lagoon. Technical hike under the impressive Sapo and Hacha falls. Views of Ucaima, Wadaima, and Golondrina.

Days 2 and 3: Angel Falls Expedition. Navigation by curiara (traditional canoe) along the Churún River, passing through the Mayupa rapids and swimming in the Pool of Happiness. Hike to the Laime Lookout to contemplate the 979m free fall and swim in its sacred pool. (Includes 1 overnight stay in a shelter in front of the falls).

Day 4: Farewell breakfast and return flight.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Airfare: Caracas or Puerto Ordaz / Canaima / Return (Conviasa).

Accommodation: 2 nights at Campamento Morichal (Double/triple room) + 1 adventure night in a hammock in front of Angel Falls.

  • Full Board: All meals from lunch on Day 1 to breakfast on Day 4.

  • Drinks: Natural juices, coffee, and tea during meals. Welcome cocktail.

  • Entrance Fees: Entrance fees to Canaima National Park and airport assistance.

RECOMMENDED GEAR

  • Lightweight, quick-dry clothing and waterproof gear.
  • Hiking boots or athletic shoes and a swimsuit.
  • Sunscreen, a hat, and mosquito repellent.
  • Flashlight and personal hygiene items (toiletries).
