Departure: Santa Elena de Uairén, Venezuela.
Difficulty: Medium – High (Constant physical demand).
Maximum Altitude: 2,810 meters (9,219 ft) above sea level.
Day 1: Approach to the Savanna and River Crossings
4×4 transfer to Paraitepuy (indigenous community). 12 km trekking (4-5 hrs) to Tek/Tök Camp. Crossing of the Tek and Kukenán rivers.
Day 2: Base Camp
Hike to the Base Camp, taking approximately 4 hours and covering 6 km. You will begin a gradual ascent, gaining about 800 meters in elevation from the starting point.
Day 3: The Summit Ascent
A 7 km technical section along «The Ramp» (cloud forest and rocky terrain). A steep vertical ascent until reaching the plateau. Overnight stay in «Hotels» (natural caves).
Day 4: Exploring the «Lost World.»
Technical trek across the summit: visit the Jacuzzis (quartz pools), the Abyss, the Valley of Crystals, and the Kukenán Window.
Day 5: Summit Exploration
Long-distance trek to the Triple Point (the border between Venezuela, Brazil, and Guyana) or the quartz cave system.
Day 6: The Descent
Technical descent from the summit to Tek Camp. High-impact day for the knees (approx. 7-8 hours of trekking).
Day 7: The Journey Back
Final trek (approx. 4 hours) to the community of Paraitepuy. Transfer by 4×4 vehicle back to Santa Elena de Uairén.
